Preparedness WARNING: Flooding

Preparedness WARNING:

Disaster Areas:

South Carolina USA
South-eastern France

4th October 2015

I just saw the news. South Carolina is in a state of emergency with flooding. The flooding is bad.

Weather.com said:

"Curfews have been ordered, many are without drinking water, several interstates are closed and five people are dead in some of the worst flooding South Carolina has ever seen."

What stood out to me is that people needed clean drinking water as the water got contaminated because of the flooding.

If you are in an area where the weather forecast is predicted to be bad, make sure you have some bottles of water stored in your home just in case, along with canned food and snack food (e.g. potato chips).

You may not know how long it will last for so be prepared today.

UPDATE: 5th October 2015

France Flooding Kills At Least 17

BBC News reports:

"Violent storms and flooding have hit south-eastern France, killing at least 17 people with four more missing, officials say."

These floods have been disastrous. Again, check your weather reports and keep in mind to have at least 3 days worth of canned food and bottled water in your home. Unpredicted disasters are popping up all over the world. This is just a friendly advice notice so you are not caught out unaware.
